Dear STC family,

If you have been watching the news, you have heard about the devastation and human tragedy in Haiti. God asks us to make sure we love our neighbor. Here is an opportunity where we can show our love by assisting in their rescue and recovery. STC will be taking a special offering this coming Sunday, 17 January 2010, to be designated for assisting in this crisis. The offering (money and materials) will be directed through Agape Flights Ministry. Agape Flights serves 130 missionary families in Port au Prince, Haiti. Scott French is familiar with this ministry and has himself gone to Haiti in the past. This link will show what assistance the missionaries on the ground are requesting. Please pray for the people in Haiti and put your faith into action by playing a part in the rescue and recovery efforts.
