The first thing we do when we meet someone is either wave “hello” or shake their hands. Our hands are the front line of physical communication. Our hands are also tools we use to express ourselves. We clap our hands to celebrate. We use our hands when we want to work, help, or battle. Two palms pressed together are the universal symbol for prayer. Jesus used His hands to convince a doubting Thomas that He had truly risen from the grave. This Easter, join us as we learn, grow, and express (at the Frederick Marathon) who we really are through our Hands.
